One vision

Our vision for West Middlesbrough is a place where people are proud to live, work and raise their families.

  • The streets will be clean and safe
  • Our learning facilities will be among the best and available to everyone
  • Our young people will be encouraged and supported to achieve their personal best
  • The area will contain good quality, affordable housing and well managed community facilities
  • People will be healthier
  • Our business community will be strong and enterprising

Together we can make this happen!

Who decides?

The decision making structure for WMNT is split into two areas:

1. The top part of the structure looks at the organisation’s main aims in terms of making sure we achieve what we set out to with the NDC programme and working with the community to look at possible objectives/services for the future. Local residents who are signed up as Trust members can join the new groups set up in this new structure, to really have a say on the services and activities on offer in the neighbourhood

2. The lower half focuses on future business development and how we can generate enough income to keep supporting the regeneration and improvement of the neighbourhood

For more information about this structure and the new WMNT groups, call Elaine Corbyn on (01642) 230555.
