They are provided as MS Word documents, using specially formatted tables which make it easy to add, delete or change text whilst preserving the table structure. As Word documents they are very easy to download.
The Maths plans are provided in specifically written sets of Weekly Plans, created for each half term, and matched to an NNS Medium Term Plan. There are single year group and mixed age range plans for maths.
The English plans are now provided as Mix ‘n Match – a brand new system which allows teachers to select the appropriate number of Weeks from a much larger set of plans and then to click a mouse to produce their own tailor-made Medium Term Plan. This not only allows the teacher to follow personal preference with regard to the choice of text and topic, it also enables them to choose the appropriate balance of fiction, non-fiction and poetry for their context. Scanning a detailed description means teachers can specifically select plans which focus on objectives they want to cover.
