Project Description: To provide advice and support to parents and appropriate professionals so they can help children communicate with language and speech appropriate to their age and ability

Speech and Language Therapy – which includes assessment, therapy and the suggestions for further class based work - is being provided on a rotational basis to Archibald, Newport and Whinney Banks Schools.

Pre-school children are being seen on home visits, and general advice to the pre-school population is being provided through ‘Make the Difference’ courses or as requested.

A refresher course on Speech and Language Therapy is also offered to nursery staff at the targeted schools.
