A range of projects are helping to integrate education and childcare services for young children, provide social and health support to families and raise pupils’ attainment levels in West Middlesbrough. The best ever GCSE results for West Middlesbrough pupils were recorded in 2004. At the same time, fewer children are leaving school with no qualifications.
